Gregory Abbott (born 2 April 1954 in New York) is an American soul-musician (keys and drums), singer, composer and producer. Abbott's parents come from either Venezuela and Antigua. His mother gave him the foremost musical impulse by teaching piano. Prior to his career when musician Abbott studied psychology and taught English at the University of Berkeley.
